    IP and subnet mask has disappeared and cant sign in


    hello so I really need help here. I've just turned my xbox one s on, normally I'd be signed in straight away no questions asked but odly today it wouldn't sign in. No messages popped up but the signing in loading bar just wouldn't change. So during the process
    I went to check my internet and my xbox didnt even notice my wifi, I checked all computers and phones to see that we were running fine. Finally I checked advanced settings and noticed my IP is 0.0.0.0 // my subnet mask is the same as my IP and the gateway
    seems fine. Why have they disappeared?

    cant sign in to xbox live

    Tried above and still no luck same result just says it cant obtain ip address even though it shows one in the basic settings there is an ip address and subnet mask # but the gateway has just got 0.0.0.0 is this normal ? Im am connecting srtraight to a cable

    It still did not work. i pressed the apple icon went to network settings then i clicked on wi-fi. it did not show me ip, subnet mask or gateway so i pressed advanced and it came up with another tab. i then clicked tcp/ip and i found IPv4 address, subnet
    mask and router. IPv4 - 10.0.0.2 Subnet Mask - 255.255.255.0 Router - 10.0.0.1. so i manually put them into the xbox network configure option and it still said ip address error.

    Xbox won't even find network!

    My IP settings says automatic

    IP Address 169.254.151.38

    Subnet mask 255.255.0.0

    Gateway 0.0.0.0

    If your console has an IP address of 0.0.0.0, you might need to either reset up your network, or manually assign it its own IP address, gateway and subnet mask
