    IP address not working


    While trying to connect to my xbox one to my xbox app so I can stream,i type the IP address and it says "We couldn't find an xbox one console with the IP address selected". I really need help and I enabled all requirements for streaming. Please help

    You still get ip address failed when wireless WEP/WPA security and wireless mac address filters and turned off and your Xbox ip address is set to auto?

    Yes.

    Does it fail on ip address when wired?

    No, but as I said, I can't have cables running through the house. I just want to get something that was working not so long ago, to be working again is all.

    Well, I set it up in bridge mode. The Cisco router gained a new IP address. As in, the WAN has a different IP address. I'm not sure if this is working yet.

    2. Are you able to sign in your Microsoft account in the Xbox app on Windows 10?

    3. Are your devices connected to a wired or wireless network?

    4. Have you tried connecting your Windows 10 PC and Xbox One console to a different network?

    You may Clear the MAC address on your Xbox One that may help resolve connectivity issues when connecting the Xbox app on your Windows 10 PC to your console. Kindly perform the following steps on your console:

    1. 1. Scroll left on the Home screen to open the Guide.
    2. 2. Select Settings.
    3. 3. Select All Settings.
    4. 4. Select Network.
    5. 5. Select Network settings.
    6. Select Advanced settings.

    7. Select Alternate MAC address.

    8. Select Clear.

    9. Select Restart.

    Reboot your Windows 10 PC and network to sync all changes made. Make sure to use the same Microsoft account on both the Xbox One console and in the Xbox app on Windows PC.

    Ip address isnt working

    Hey man, if anything, try using a wired connection to see if it is just your wireless connection not working.

    If not then try contacting your internet provider.

    Connected to the internet, but only partially to Xbox Live.

    You need to set the IP address for your xbox to manual.

    Make sure you enter the IP address, subnet mask, and gateway addresses all correctly. (If you have the DMZ set up for the IP address 192.168.1.100, that must also be the xbox's IP address for it to work correctly.)

    Does it fail on ip address when wired? I appreciate other bits might not work but lets stick to the ip address message for now

    Can't connect to internet (and xbox live)

    And are you using a static ip address on the Xbox?

    If the forwarding doesn't work try putting the static ip address of the Xbox in the DMZ
