    iOS Xbox App Compatibility with Xbox 360


    Used Smartglass until recently when it no longer worked come iOS 11. Found out about Xbox app through articles and then App store. Would like to clarify if it's supposed to work with Xbox 360. It doesn't appear so, but I can't find any setup documentation
    so there might be more to it than just choosing Connection within the app at which time it appears to be searching for a console to no avail. But the console is on. The media remote that came with the console died so Smartglass was a decent backup.

    Xbox Smartglass (for 360) is flagging for App Compatibility in iOS 10.3 (beta)

    The Xbox 360 Smartglass app in iOS 10.3 (currently in beta) is flagging as a 32-bit binary that "will not work with future versions of iOS" if it isn't updated.

    Is the Xbox 360 Smartglass app (for ios) slated for an update to 64-bit to maintain long-term compatibility with iOS?

    Microsoft, please update the Xbox 360 SmartGlass app to work with iOS 11. Currently it’s incompatible with iOS 11 and therefore can’t be downloaded from the App Store anymore.

    The Xbox 360 is not compatible with the Xbox app in many years at the app it was compatible with has been completely discontinued. The Xbox 360 is no longer supported

    Got it, Abrile. Xbox Console Companion on PC and Xbox app on android is not compatible with Xbox 360. Apps that were compatible with the Xbox 360 have been discontinued.

    You may need to redeem the code on an Xbox One as it's oddly specific about where you redeem these codes. If you have the Xbox App on Windows 10 / iOS / Android you should be able to redeem the code on there too.

    Note this might mean you cannot play the game on an Xbox 360, but you should be able to play it on Xbox One with backwards compatibility.

    Thank you @Coldblood526. I've tried this already on my Xbox One, XBox One X and iOS App. But not on my XBox 360 and XBox Android App. Do you mean logout on all devices and apps at the same time? I will try that.
