iOS Smartglass will not open anymore

Today I've got an update and now the App starts like it should I shaked my phone already and did all you wanted! Thank you very much for your god help!

We were wondering why all of our users have been quiet! I'm incredibly happy to see that the app is no longer crashing. I'll confirm with the team before considering your issue resolved, though. I'll update once I hear back from them!

I am getting no sign in screen, no option to add in any user information at all. The green screen with Xbox logo appears for about 1-2 seconds then immediately turns off.

When i reinstall it on the first attempt it lasts slightly longer and I seen the sign in but flash up before it closes but not long enough to press it

Thanks for testing! You should have an invite to join our TestFlight group and to install our latest test build now. Please install this build and then let us know the following.

1. Are you still crashing? If so, please tell us what happens from install to crash, and what the last thing you see when you crash is.
2. If you aren’t crashing anymore, great! Please shake your phone from the home screen to enter our feedback submission system and file a complaint. In the field of what’s happening, let us know that you were one of the users with a crash on startup that is
   now fixed. Please make sure you indicate that this is a complaint and set a low rating – this will make sure we grab the full logs so we can validate that our fix worked properly and won’t reoccur for you in the future.

Again, your assistance is much appreciated! We look forward to your results.

I have had no update and my app still won't work

Hey, saxman! It sounds like you didn't end up getting into the TestFlight like Florian did. However, the update he has should be pushed out this week sometime. Keep checking for updates and let me know when you get one and if it's resolved.

We are indeed aware of a situation with the iOS version of the Xbox App crashing upon opening it. We’ve fixed a number of startup crashes based on data that has come back from the community, but we’re having trouble nailing down the specific conditions that
are causing the issues that you’re seeing. We’re hoping you can provide a bit more data and try a few experiments for us in order to help us narrow down and fix the issue that is affecting you.

1. When you say crashing on startup, are you seeing any user interface before the app crashes? If so, what screen are you seeing right before it crashes?
2. Upon uninstalling and reinstalling the Xbox App, which of the following is happening:
   
   1. Does it give you an option to sign in, and you can type in your account information before it crashes?
   2. Does it go straight to the signing-in screen (a green screen with a spinner on the bottom) as if it knows your account information, and then crashes?
3. Are you not getting any user experiences before it crashes?
4. If you are able to sign in before crashing (option (a) in the list above), can you please try creating a new dummy account and sign in using that account to see if it still crashes? We need to determine whether this is a condition specific to your device
   or whether it is specific to your account before we can proceed further.
5. Are you willing to let us pass your account information along to the investigating team so that we can ensure there are no account-side issues?
