    iOS game chat not working


    Im using cloud gaming on my iMac and I have to say it’s brilliant with one draw back. No matter what try when playing with friends they can not hear me in game chat but I can hear them. It’s not my headset if tried several they all work fine with other applications. I’ve now found that game chat is not available on iOS my question is why and will this ever be fixed.

    Yes I saw that I just wish I knew if it was going to be fixed and when I can’t find anything on the topic, other than others having the same issue. Why not just say what’s happening.

    I don't exactly know the details because they don't tell us. But in my opinion, it may have something to do with the security and privacy of Apple ecosystem or Operating System. Let's wait for the updates. They don't really provide the details when it's going to be supported.

    As mentioned above, cloud gaming is in beta. If you have feedback or suggestions, please visit their official thread to get help from their team.

    That's correct. Based on the support article below, microphone functionality for party chat and in-game chat aren’t currently supported for iOS and iPadOS.

    Thanks. Chat direct through the console works fine on wifi, (when plugging a headset into the controller), its just through the IOS app that doesnt work.

    Not on the Website. You can chat on a PC via the Xbox Game Bar. Or you can chat on android and iOS devices using the Xbox App.
