Invites not working

    There have been multiple occasions where I receive an invite that doesn't show up on my console and only shows up on my phone. I'm sure you are aware of this issue, but just in case.

    Invites not working

    This happens to me and a lot of other users.

    Go to network settings through the guide.

    Then click your network if it's not selected.

    Hit Configure Network.

    Press the right bumper once.

    Then scroll down and click restore to factory defaults.

    Once that is done go back to network settings and click on your network and type in your WEP key or code for your internet.

    Let it connect.

    You are done!

    Invites not working

    All other functions seem to be working fine but when I send out and invite it goes but the person I sent it to never gets it.

    This happens to me and a lot of other users.

    Heya!

    Are you seeing the same issues on the website if you check your profile?

    To be sure, are you not seeing the pop ups and also not seeing the invite when checking notifications?

    Power cycling the console by unplugging it and letting it sit for 5 mins is a great place to start.

    If that does not help clear the issue up let's be sure to follow the steps on the
    verification guide and then have a friend send you an invite to test.

    Post back and let us know how that goes!

    We’ll first want to check your current NAT type. To do this:

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    2. Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Network settings.
    3. Under Current Network Status, the NAT Type field displays your current NAT type.
    You need your NAT type to be Open to resolve this issue.

    We also recommend that you check your privacy and online safety settings on Xbox.com to ensure that your profiles are allowed to join multiplayer games and parties.
