Invited to Xbox Preview Program, No Download Link

I was informed that I was invited to the Xbox One Preview Program by an Xbox Phone Support representative by the name of Chae, who also let me know that I have not responded to the invitation yet. I've been trying to find an invitation on m E-Mails' spam
and junk folders, as well as looking through all of my Xbox LIVE messages on my Xbox One console to no avail. Is there any way I can get a download link resent to me? Thank you very much!

Early acces preview program

The Xbox 360 and Xbox One preview programs are separate... being in one doesn't guarantee access to the other. To get into the Xbox One preview program, you'll need to be invited by a friend who is already in the program, and then be accepted by Microsoft
(you'll get a message from Xbox Live with a link to download the Preview Dashboard app).

You get an invite as a message, but if you have ever had an enforcement action or are under a certain age you can not join, you wouldn't even get the message.

Even if you meet the requirements some people do not get accepted after they accept if the program is full.

I didn't have any enforcement actions recorded on my account when I was invited. I just didn't get the E-Mail / message. I used to be an Xbox Ambassador like you, until I stood up for myself on Xbox Live. Now I've been removed due to a 24-hour communication
suspension. Anyway, I would just like the message to be resent if that's possible (if any Xbox Support representatives are reading).

 

Well if youve had a communications suspension then that IS an enforcement action on your account. Plus being invite DOES NOT guarantee you will be accepted into the preview program. There are 3 steps to joining the preview program.

1. You get invited.

2. You get accepted.

3. You download the preview program application.

The preview program has been at capacity for several months so even if you get invited it could takes weeks or even months before you get accepted.

However seeing as you say you had a communication ban you then now have an enforcement action on the account so its even MORE UNLIKELY that you would be accepted at all.

 

Plus the invitation wont go to your email. It will come in the form of a message on your xbl account. At least it did for me

 

As far as I am aware you don't get phone calls saying you have been invited, I've been in the program since the start and was invited by Microsoft, Now you get invited by a friend but that doesn't mean you would get in, also its quite full at the moment.

 

I never said I got a phone call, I just stated that an Xbox Live Phone Support representative told me that I've been invited. I was on a phone call with Xbox Support about a problem with my Xbox One and I just asked about the Preview Program. Also, I was
saying that I DIDN'T have any enforcement actions recorded on my account specifically when I was invited and didn't until a few months afterward.

 

Everyone got so hostile when I admitted to a communication suspension. As I said, I was defending myself.

 

You say everyone got so hostile, No one was hostile toward you, telling you the facts.

If some one gets an enforcement action against them you would have to wait 12 months, if you are already in the program you would be removed for 12 months not sure if you have to reapply.

 

Does the one-day suspension subside after a year completely? Can I also reapply to the Xbox Ambassador Program?

 

The suspension will stop preventing you from being accepted into the Preview Program after one year. Unfortunately, a requirement for being an ambassador is that you can have no previous enforcement actions on your account, so re-joining won't be possible,
even after a year.
