Invited to Preview Newest Xbox 360 Update

I received an email this evening which stated I was invited to "Preview the newest Xbox 360 update !".

Instructions state, "To join the program, go to Account Settings and select 'Xbox 360 Preview Registration' under Your Memberships (it may take a few seconds to appear) and follow the instructions."

I went into Settings/Account/Your Memberships and the only thing listed under that heading is, 'Xbox Live Gold', there is no 'Xbox 360 Preview Registration' listed. I waited about half an hour, nothing has changed.

I have restarted my box and cleared my system cache, still, no Registration listed under My Memberships.

Are you talking about the Preview of the new update that select people were invited too? According to majornelson, only the registration app is out and the preview wont be available until next week. Do you already have it?

Registration App

I would like to be invited to preview new Xbox one updates. I've been an xbox live member for seven years now. Please consider my request. Please nd thank you.

 

I seem to be experiencing the same issue. I'm not sure how many people got the invite, but I'm sure its happened to more people. I guess we will all eventually get the update, I did kinda want to see it early though. Hopefully xbox fixes this because I've
tried about everything.

When I got online this afternoon, the Registration was there, under Your Memberships.

It seems that it takes more than "just a few minutes" for it to show up, more like 12 hours or more.

I did get the preview but ever since I got it I cannot play my game (nba2k15) on ea servers it is giving me a lot of issues

 

This update has literally fried my console. It overheats and now everytime I go to start a game, such as Destiny, it logs me out and I have to sign back in and reconnect. Every time. And not to mention, ever since this update, the game audio in Destny doesnt
exist, other games work fine, but nothing Ive tried has fixed it and I'm assuming it was an issue with the update. The update also has caused so many connection problems, I can't join social areas or PvP matchmaking on Destiny without getting an Xbox disconnect
message "Disconnected from Xbox Live. 10 minutes remaining," and I literally have to wait ten minutes to reconnect. these are serious issues, please fix them. OR you could please remove me from your preview list, I just want to play my game.
