    Invited for the preview plan, but no option to install?


    So my friend has invited me about 6 months ago for the preview plan, but I never got the option/message to install it.

    I heard it took long to arrive, but not this long...

    How do I fix this?

    Post about the Xbox 360 preview program deleted

    Posting to request invites is I understand against the rules here on the forum.

    Though the current preview program is at the moment Microsoft invite only. So if they haven't invited you in then there is no option but to wait.

    Hi Vluchteling,

    It's my understanding that someone inviting you doesn't necessarily guarantee you access (immediate or otherwise) into the Dashboard Preview Program.

    According to the official FAQ it states:

    How will I know if I've been selected?

    You'll get a service message from us on your Xbox One. The message will include a link to download the Xbox Preview Dashboard app. You'll need to use the app to register your console for Preview updates.

    Additionally, due to the announcement of backwards compatibility there has been a signfiicant increase in the number of dashboard invites being sent; its possible that the system is inundated or there is not a need for additional preview members at this
    time.
    Unfortunately, I don't know the specifics that occur behind the scenes that determine elegibility to the program. My best suggestion would be to continue gaming and see if any of your other friends could also invite you.

    What's Your Background?

    I plan to just use a colored abstract or carbon fiber background since the tiles will block out a picture. I do have the option to check it out now since I have recently received an invite to the Preview program, but I'm still weighing the pros and the cons
    of joining up. :/

    You need to use the XBOX preview app. In there should be a option to invite friends.
