    I've been having a problem where I am not receiving notifications for invites and neither is the other player if I send one to him/her. Please help because I cannot join any other group due to the fact that I can't see the invites.

    Earlier today I wanted to do a Nightfall Strike in Destiny 2. Since matchmaking isn't available for Nightfall's, I need to make my own party/fireteam. I created a Looking for Group posts. I tried to invite the first two people who were interested, but
    the option to invite a person to a game was grayed out. All the other options (invite to a party, club etc.) were fine. I checked my NAT Type and it was open. Does anyone why I can't send game invites?

    Invites are not sent out over the forums. You will need a friend in the preview program to invite you.

    No invites or party invites

    Hold the power button to turn off your xbox fully and then turn it back on.

    That fixed it for me last time, happened more than once but thats how I got it to work all the time.

    I am part of a community for a game and sometimes people ask for help. Because someone asked for an invite I thought they wanted to see how I play. When I sent the invite and they accepted does this mean they were able to watch what I was doing? If so,
    how do I communicate?

    Thanks for your post. It seems that you had joined their party, a party is a voice/chat room where multiple people on Xbox Live can play together or just interact and communicate on our services. For more information on Xbox Live parties check out:
