Invite to Game option is grey on everyones profile

Last time I spoke to microsoft support they changed my subscription from 3 month recurring to 1 month recurring when it was only meant to be the one month I wanted to pay for. Ever since then I've been unable to invite anyone to my game session. Parties
are fine but I have to ask the other person to invite me. For a multi-billion company you would expect to be able to speak to someone when something goes wrong. All my internet searches on this have come up naught with no real answer on why this is happening.
Any help would be appreciated.
