    Invite to backwards compatibility preview program if possible


    Hi i have a fairly small community of friends on xbox and i was really hoping that someone could invite me into the preview program for the backwards compatability. I tried to find the forum that the customer support gave me a link to but it said that it
    was no longer up. If anyone would be willing to help i would greatly appreciate it.

    Xbox preview program glitch

    Cian SWEENEY,

    Receiving an invite does not guarantee acceptance into the preview program. Ever since the backward compatibility announcement, there is a large volume of invite requests that have been made. All you can do is wait and see if you are accepted into
    the preview program. Upon acceptance you will receive an Xbox Live message and access to the Preview Program Support forums.

    The preview program is full at the moment so they are not accepting new applications.

    There's a lot more to being in the preview than backwards compatibility.

    Anyway,backwards compatibility is being released to everyone along with the NXOE on Nov 12th so not long to wait.

    The program is no longer taking people in it is full at this time.

    As a preview program member who actually participates in the program it makes me sad that people are just trying to get into this program just for backwards compatibility then fill the programs forums with how nothing works and that they deserve better because
    there in the preview program.

    Request to become a preview member

    Backwards compatibility has already been released to the public, so you would not need to be a preview member to play Halo Wars. That game is not compatible yet, so even as a preview member, you wouldn't be able to play it.

    Invites for the preview program are not given via the forums. You would need to have someone who is already in the program invite you. Being invited does not guarantee you will be accepted into the program.

    Hi there!

    Invites to the preview program are not sent out over the support forums. You will need a friend who is already in the program to invite you.

    As a side note, getting into the preview program at this time will not necessarily mean that you get the backwards compatibility update until some time in July.
