    Hi.

    I have linked my in my Xbox account my Steam account. From the Xbox app from windows 10, I have linked my Steam account. But, after that I can't see any of my Steam's friends.

    Is it possible to invite a Steam's friend from a Xbox game to join the game?

    I can't see my Steam's friend on my Xbox One X to invite them to play the game with me.

    Yes, I know there are a lot games that aren't crossplay. I'm asking for the ones that are, like Windjammers 2.

    Linking your steam profile just shows to people that you have steam, nothing more. Some games do have cross play, and those games you will be able to invite someone in game itself, not via the Xbox dashboard.
    I can't see any people that I have on Steam on my Xbox, neither my Xbox dashboard and neither in the game running on my Xbox, and neither in the Xbox app for Windows, and neither on a game from Xbox running on a Windows 10 PC.

    Link my son's Steam to his Xbox account (Family Safety)

    you don't need to link steam for him to play with friends on steam, all platforms use xbox live for that game and is fully crossplay.

    all his friends need to do or himself is invite or be invited, if they invite him they just need to use gamebar on pc to invite regardless if steam or xbox app etc.

    No, i'm afraid not, the game doesn't support crossplay.

    I just solved it, I made the transition from ps to Xbox and in my ps account was selected crossplay off, just switched to crossplay on and restarted the Xbox, still offline but now can play, join and invite my friends. Hope this helps!
