Invitation not received for preview program

About an week or so ago I've had two friends (who sent more then one invite) I believe to send me an invitation to the Xbox preview program. Since then I have received no notification at all about if I even have gotten in or not or an message from xbox that's
suppose to give the update. I could understand if there is a lot of back up since everyone is sending people invites but, could someone inform me how I know if I'm accepted or not. Or maybe how long the waiting period is? Some answers to help me understand
more would be greatly helpful.

Preview Issues

Sorry to hear it. An invitation does not necessarily guarantee access to the preview program. Also, the preview program is currently at capacity and they are not accepting new people at the moment. This is probably why you have not received an invitation.

If your friends have invited you though and support can see the invitation on their end that means your still in the queue for a future date. Please be patient and keep an eye on your Live messages for more information.

 

Xbox Preview Program

Sorry to hear it guys. Prestidigitator, if you have not received a Live message with instructions to download the app then perhaps you have not been added to the program yet.

Phone support is not able to tell who is in the preview program and who is not.

Please remember that an invitation to the preview program does not necessarily guarantee access to the program. All invitation are currently being processed in waves so please be patient and keep an eye on your Live messages for further information as that
is the only place you will receive messages regarding the preview program.

 

well there's no waiting period so if you're in you'll get a message from Xbox live on your xbox and keep in mind that not everyone will get an invite and sending more invites wont help

 

Thank you for the reply but, in my belief Microsoft then should be more specific on what they say as "invite a friend to the preview program"then because I think it's "false advertising". Because the sound of that to me is hey send 1 and you'll get in. If
there only an chance then it should say send an "invite to an friend for an chance to get them in the preview program" with at least an notification saying if you got in or not. That would sound much more fair to me.
