Hackers in my lobby...

Hi I play modern warfare 3 and wanted to report someone hacking and being invisible I play this game quite a bit im ranked 897 in the world on some game play and would like to see something done about ppl running around invisible his gamer tag is [Mod
Removed] on xbox live

 

When you get tagged by a recon drone...

Assassin doesn't nullify the tag. Though I believe blind eye makes you "invisible" to the drone.

 

Hey there blackasnight99! Please use the tools on your console or in game to report any players you feel are doing something against the code of conduct. Naming and shaming them on the forums is not allowed. Thanks!

 

Bowski477 you really don't get it do you everyone that reports people for cheating carry on cheating because no one does a dam thing the naming and shaming rule should be removed so others will know who they are and what they've done to be placed on the
list at least then it give us real players who don't cheat a heads up end of!

 

The quantity of invisible players on mw3 are increasingly getting worse and worse. What is the best thing we can do? Reporting these players are obviously not doing anything to help. Would it be possible to get xblpet in on this and help clean this up? I
love to play mw3, but not with invisible and undefeatable opponents.

 

Invisible players is an in game glitch that the devs themselves would have to patch. There really isn't much MS can do on their end other that follow up on the reports that come in from users via the console.

 

Hey bowski477 - you seem to be in the know, so tell me, do you know how long it takes for Xbox live to ban these invisible hackers? Do you know how many are being banned? It seems that every 3rd game I am running into one or two of these hackers and it
seems to never stop. I even got an message from a player offering me an invisible hack (God Mode). I enjoy playing the game, but it is frustrating to run into these hackers. It's bad enough (sometimes fun) dealing with the "clans" and the players with the
Modded Controllers.

Unfortunately I don't have anymore information on those questions than the average user. The enforcement team receives hundreds of reports a day that they have to go through and investigate. The process in not something that happens fast.

But as I stated, a lot of the issues stem from the game itself that the devs must fix and patch. the enforcement team can only do so much.

 

Bowski477, thanks for your help. It sounds like we need to direct all complaints to Infinity Ward for a fix. I will attempt to contact via forums or twitter. I will post my results here with any updates.

 

if you as the moderator know so much about this what takes so long to fix these so called glitches in the game that allow people to use god mode or whatever you wanna call it/ if you asked me i think you're probably using them yourself considering you know
so much about it, but also claim to know nothing at the same time, make no sense if you ask me/ furthermore when i can go online and find sites that will sell me a controller for around $120 that has every mod built in so that no one can beat me, who's stopping
that, oh and when those same site if you have enough money will sell you the codes to cheat on the game., i also think we should be posting the gamertags of all cheaters/hackers on every forum for the game so that everyone knows who they are. Secondly they
should actually get banned for a substantial amount of time because two weeks isn't doing anything, it should be no less than six months/ but then again like i said who says that the moderators and enforcement teams arent made up of these very individuals
