    Invalid warranty date


    I bought a new Xbox One X at Target on Black Friday 2019 (11/29/2019). This was a BRAND NEW system. I am now having an issue where the video isn't working (I think the HDMI port went out) but Microsoft is saying that the warranty expired on 01/11/2020,
    which is not even 60 days from the date of purchase! Even a refurbished console has a 90-day warranty. What is up with this? I can't get anybody on the phone or through chat to help me fix this issue. Thanks for any help you might be able to offer.

    contact the xbox support by phone or chat and send them your receipt, they change the warranty date and you can procede to repair your console.

    I agree with the previous comment the only thing you can do is contact xbox support or Microsoft support with proof of purchase ready, keep trying if you are having trouble as they are low on man power due to this pandemic we are going through.

    They will fix this issue for you I'm sure

    You would need to contact them and as long as you can provide them with Proof of Purchase (receipt) they should be able to fix the warranty issue for you.

    Have you gone back to Target with a receipt and explained the issue? The retailer also has liability.
