    Invalid First Name!


    I tried signing up into xbox live (xbox 360) for the first time! and then they are asking for my first name , I put it and then it shows 'That first name isn't valid for use on xbox live' I tried using different names then , sometimes using numbers , but it still didn't work! what do I do? I tried everything I could pls help!

    Depends on what their first name is, are you putting any special characters into the name field or a space maybe ?

    I also have been experiencing this, used it in the past before and it has worked fine. I think something on Xbox Live for Xbox 360 probably broke recently. At least it's a bit coincidental that we are both having this issue at the same time and this issue has rarely been brought up before.
    I am also having the same issue today. Very annoying!!
