    Hello.

    So my xbox live ran out and I can't be bothered, or have the time, to go out and buy it again right now. So I found a free 7 day free xbox live gold trial code in my COD: Ghosts case, but when I went to redeem it it said that it was invalid. I've had the
    game since just before Christmas last year, with the code inside I've not used it before either. So is this just because it's outdated? If that can even happen.

    I also have another code for the GTA V atomic blimp and it says that's invalid too. I've also not used this code either. So I'm pretty confused as to why I can't use my codes.

    I've tried to redeem the codes on both my xbox and online, neither have worked and both have said the codes are invalid.

    Anybody have an idea?

    Invalid Codes?

    If you’re receiving an invalid error usually that means that one of the letters or digits in the code is incorrect. Codes are 25-digit alphanumeric strings but sometimes some numbers or letters may look similar.

    For example:

    • The number "8" may resemble the uppercase letter "B."
    • Two instances of the uppercase letter "V" may resemble the uppercase letter "W."
    • The number "0" may resemble the uppercase letter "O."

    Thanks for your advice. However, I have checked multiple times that i'm entering the code correctly. I have.

    It is either because your console is region based, or they sold you invalid codes. Sorry if they sold you invalid codes. I would recommend buying gold legitimately and see if it works

    @Buzyb77 The code you gave was invalid. Tried lower and uppercase. Took my time and made sure EVERY letter and number was correct. Just keep getting the "This is an invalid code" error.
