"Xbox go to One Guide" will bring up the guide... from there it will be our basic on screen TV guide... you can also have a custom one guide to show your apps and Netflix shows etc on the guide as channels.... The guide still needs overall work... they
do need the change the channel listing for voice.... I watch a local sports channel .... if I say Xbox watch SNYHD2.. it has not a clue... we need it to be more like... Xbox watch channel 60

Me personally though....I rarely use the guide... my TV service (Optimum IO, has like 1000 channels.. and I use a different set of HD channels that what the XB thinks I should use) I use the cable box OEM remote... just much easier to navigate channels...

if you are in the UK?? which I think you are correct?? I am not sure of the guide is 100% released in your region yet.... I am not sure...

My voice controls work 99% of the time...unless I say "One guide"; that ALWAYS gets interpreted as "One Drive".

I don't think the updated one guide with the channel listings is included in the latest public update, i had the one guide like in the picture on my console when i had the xbox one update preview installed but had to get my console replaced today so I've
not got the latest preview update anymore and no longer see channels and don't have the option to set my cable box.

I think us in the UK will get the one guide in the June update. However I've just read the Games with Gold are available from 1st June ( Halo, Max Payne and Streetfighter ), however I cannot see anything on mine yet and this could be just for 360 users.

D33dles, while on the home screen, you only have to press X once, not twice, to bring up the oneguide.

Lmao GG well I tried using the controller to send a message the other day and it took ages. Would be nice if Kinect had voice to text. So much faster.

I was rather let down with the TV features to be honest. However I still haven't fully sussed it out. I have my Virgin box plugged into the back anyway, also I have my Nano pc hooked into my TV too. I do not watch any live TV at all. However as mentioned
I will have a better look about. I'm not sure if I'm just a little old now but it all seems a little complicated. I've gone through most consoles from the Master System through to todays XB1 and this console has been a bit trial and error, I've found myself
constantly searching the new for things for it to do. I only just managed to get it to play a movie from my PC the other day. I have seen lots of people moaning about the system so I won't add too much to that. I just hope the future updates and demo's are
good. Thanks for the input

Apologies, I'm still getting my head round the forum. Maybe the mods could place it in the right area. I'm on XB1 and have my phone on the same network, although my XBone isn't wireless , it's wired. Do I need the smartglass app on the XB one ?, doh !!
