    Internet works but errors occur when trying to connect to game servers


    I am able to connect to xbox live, create LAN servers, and stream videos on all my devices including my xbox at a fast speed, so my internet should be working well. NAT type is Open according to the xbox. However, I am unable to connect to online game
    servers in Rainbow Six Siege for whatever reason. Keep in mind that I am easily able to connect to servers in other games. I have already fully restarted my xbox (complete shutdown and turn back on) and restarted the wifi router but i continue to receive connection
    errors. How can I fix the issue? Or is my wifi just too slow to handle connecting to Ubisoft game servers?

    can you try connecting your xbox to your router with an ethernet cable and not wifi and see if that helps?

    When you loading into the game did you see anything about maintenance? I know there have been a few bugs with the game lately with people classes resetting. And if your only issues with this game it might just be the servers are down for this game.
    I recommend following RainbowSixSiege on Twitter or visiting their forums.

    Servers are not currently under maintenance as friends are able to play. I constantly receive an error with an error code of: 6-0x00001000

    I’ve looked into the issue (looking info about error code on google) and yet I still have no idea as to what is causing the issue.
