  1. Internet usage skyrocketed after switching to Xbox one

This is our first month with the Xbox one and our internet usage went waaaaaay up. We don't use Netflix or anything. We just play games and have our cable hooked up so it plays through the Xbox one so we can use the snap tv feature. Has anyone else seen
    this with theirs?

    :)

    What is this?!?!

    Hey LadyJadey,

Thanks for posting, and sorry to see the high bandwidth usage! Has your Xbox One's data usage looked accurate after 5/31? This may have been a visual bug, and your Xbox One console most likely has not reached anywhere near 3,600 TB of data usage. The most
reliable tool to check internet usage will be through your ISP. Any bandwidth usage your Xbox One console actually uses will reflect on the ISP side. I would not worry about your Xbox One console using that much data unless your ISP is reflecting the same
    amount of usage.

Hope this helps clear up the issue!

Well the One itself causes a lot more data traffic due to its architecture. For example all save games are not only saved locally on your hard disc, but also being synchronized with the cloud. So everytime you start a game they are being synchronized.

Also the system and game updates are way bigger then on the 360, some game updates are several GB in size, some up to 20GB in total. Same with the game data being transferred while playing online games.

The attached cable TV is not affecting your internet data traffic at all.

Hope this answers your question a bit.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 low fps despite high end pc.

I have an i5-6600K, GTX 1060 6GB, 16 GB RAM. I had a ton of stuttering and 100% CPU usage on low, medium, and high settings. It was unplayable. But, I sort of found a temporary fix. After messing around with the game for a while, I realized that the stuttering
happens when I am playing the game in full screen. I switched to windowed mode and it got slightly better but there were still some stutters. Then I discovered if the game window is not in focus, my frame rate skyrockets. So, it does not seem to be a hardware
problem, but possibly a bug in the game.

    BANDWITH USAGE

Not sure what you mean but the DNS Server is owned by your Internet Provider, it translates the address you type into the address bar into a numeric address of the server you wish to access.

The IP Address is own by yourself / internet router.

The bandwidth usage that is displayed on your Xbox One displays how much usage your Xbox One is using through your internet router / internet provider.

Xbox controllers seem to be made very poorly.

Xbox 360 controllers heavy usage broke down after a while. My xbox one controllers under moderate usage have yet to break down.
