Internet Speed?

hi, just a quick question regarding the xbox one (which all been well will be in my hands next week) i was wondering what the slowest internet speed would be ok to run games online? i currently get 2.5 mbps but i am having fibre installed next friday (up
to 40mbps) i was wondering if these would be fast enough to run lets say the elder scrolls online?

Internet Conection

I've been having some problems with that internet connection error, too, but honestly, I don't know how I feel about disabling the firewall and/or security features of the router. I hope they release a patch soon that will fix the problem.

 

Internet Explorer

I don't have my keyboard for my controller, so I have no need for the IE on there. Good to know its a productive app though.

Your download is just shy of the "recommended" to play any of the games online; however with download being that low, I'm curious what your upload will be since 512kbps minimum is your best bet. You can refer to this link for more information. The numbers
listed are for the 360 but based on my router activity logs apply to the X-Box One as well:

The games should still function regardless but you would need to keep in mind that you may experience some latency the lower the numbers as those listed above are for a "certified" online experience.
