Internet speed issues

I've read previous posts with no one writing an actual cause, but rather to reference another threat that has no answer and got locked. What I'd like to know: is Microsoft's upload transfer speed currently limited around 20-30 Mbps?

I have a 110Mbps (Megabits, not bites) measured from my devices, not advertised, and my wired xbox one connection is only seeing 20-30 Mbps. This tells me there is either a compatibility issue with my router or Microsoft doesn't have the bandwidth upload
to support more than 20-30 Mbps. I would like to know if Microsoft is limited so I don't have to try to troubleshoot what is going on with my systems here when everything else is just fine.

What is your internet speed? and are there possibly any internet issues in your area?

Hi!

It depends on the speed of the internet connection not from the game. With a large size and low speed it takes a lot of time to download. Check the speed of your internet line to see if there are any issues.

I can't answer the question on if it is a Microsoft limitation but I do know that if you have 20-30 Mbps upload speed it is very good. You say yours measured from other devices is 110 Mbps? That to me sounds like a download speed. I have never heard
(don't mean it doesn't exist) of a home internet connection have 110 Mbps upload speed. Would you please clarify?

20-30 Mbps is way more than enough to support XBOX gaming. Most users have no where near that speed.

20-30 download on the xbox, 110 on every other device. I only get 7Mbps upload. I'm referring to Microsoft's upload might be limited. It's for downloading my old xbox 360 games and newer games.

I understand but I will have to defer to someone else as I am not sure what their bandwidth capacities are. Although, I do know that a lot of factors go into how fast an individual is able to download from a server. Number of users using the bandwidth
at the time is one of those factors and another would be distance from the server. Maybe someone can come along with a more definitive answer. Good Luck!

If you're internet speed is the issue, then you would need to contact your internet provider to see about increasing your speed.

Yes, that could be the main problem that is causing this since they are different regions.
