    I wanted to know if leaving the internet turned on while my Xbox systems are off is harmful to them or is it better to turn the internet off and am I harming the systems more by turning the internet off?

    Hello DBZFUZIONREBORN, as mentioned above this does not affect or harm your console, and if you leave your console on standby with automatic updates it will not update.

    no need to turn off your internet full stop, does no harm to the console but a lot of ISP's use automated systems that check integrity of connections, turning your router off all the time can cause your speeds to drop as the systems think there is an issue and puts your line into test mode as it thinks there is a fault.

    Go to you network section on you Xbox ....Then go to network settings try to disconnect you internet from the Xbox and then set the internet connection back up through your Xbox ... This might help
