    INTERNET/ SERVER PROBLEMS. PLEASE HELP :/


    The problem is on the game Destiny. It allows me to play for about an hour, then I'll get kicked off and destiny will display a message that says "you have been disconnected from the destiny server, please check your internet connection" then after
    I reset it, it lets me get back on for about 5 minutes then it does the same thing.



    is this my problem or is it destiny?



    any fixes??

    Rockband store down for anyone else?

    Yeah i had a problem with it too. Said it cannot connect to the servers. I thought it was just a problem with my internet connection.

    And on what map, are the PTS servers running better?

    It's destiny issue. They claim if you open your ports on the router it will fix it but I have a hard time believing that and it isn't a simple task .

  5. this is how you do it. for every router made you have a 95% chance that someone on youtube has made a video on how to do it for your router. its not hard its very easy it just looks hard. they should of given you a list of ports to open. once you learn how
    to do 1 you can simply repeat the process to do the rest. if you cant find out call comcast and they will walk you step byt step into doing it or make them do it for you which they can do.

    Bungie's Docs send you to port forward xbox live, the issue isn't with xbox live, tried there recommended port forwarding and still doesn't work.

  7. if port forwarding does have you done a net speed test?.speedtest.net you may need to contact your isp to see if its a problem with their service.

    when i was on AT&T Fiber optic DSL one avery 90 days my connection would get very bad and i would call them and they would reset a server node in my area and it would fix it. i eventually got tired of the 45 min w3ait times. and switched services. you can
    also get the same speed test as apps on your phones and ipad to run when ever you think your having net issues.

    not issues on a speed test, and ISP says everything is all ok.

    (I'll listen to anyone offering advice, try anything once to fix it)

  11. are you connecting to the router wireless or wired? how many megs a sec are you downloading at? i've experienced these issues before. and going off personal experience i'm not trolling. it may be a IP conflict. i used to connect wireless and the router would
    cause packet loss thus casueing it. had them change the router and that fixed the issue. try a wired connection. try shutting down anything connection to the router pcs, phones, ipads anything. reset the router and modems. remember yourxbox1 sleep mode vs
    hard reset. and hard reset it. then let me know if that helps.

    It's happening to me too...and a lot of other people. Doing the steps he mentioned won't solve the issue, know why? Cause it's bungies servers...not MS, or your connection. This is happening on playstation also. As of right now, they're supposedly "working
    around the clock" to fix it.

    I am on wired, I do have two xboxes in the house and we use them at the same time but it happens when my son is at school and his xbox is turned off, I have fibre optic, speeds on speed tests are good, I have change routers, I have powered the fibre optic
    router down for over an hour to reset the exchange, done hard resets etc, and still no change.

    Tried port forwarding for one xbox to xbox live and destiny, and it didn't work, it it had I would have purchased a different none ISP router.

    The thing that really really annoys me, is there was a known issue in the beta with Chat issues, and that IMO has got a lot worse.

    If it doesn't improve I will be looking for my money back on the DLC since I purchase the digital guardian edition.

    I hope it improves becuase I am loving the game when I can play it.
