    Internet resetting


    Hey there, need some help. Every time the Xbox one is turned on it connects to the wifi for about 20mins and then it disconnects and messes with the household internet until it's switched off. Once the Xbox is turned off the internet either has to be reset
    or it just comes back on. I tried my provider thinking it was them but after 2 days of troubleshooting (and a new modem/router that I probably didn't need) I've tracked the problem down to Xbox ! It's only been doing it for the last two weeks, and we haven't
    changed anything on it except my son plays more Overwatch. It's driving me nuts! Would appreciate any help. I've googled it and it seems to be a problem that others have had but without a solution....

    hello I have in issue with my router resetting causing me to disconnect from xbox live. So here is what happens. Me and my brother are playing on two separate consoles while connected wirelessly to Xbox live. We are in the process of searching for an online
    match when the internet cuts out because the Xbox rests. This only happens when we are in the same lobby. When we are playing on our own with different people it had not issues. Only when we are in the same lobby it disconnects. Any suggestions on what could
    be the issue.

    it is a problem with your internet please try to reset your internet and hard reset you Xbox.

    How to hard reset is hold down the Xbox button on your console.

    It could be an internet issue so I'd give these a try:

    -Make sure your console is connected to the internet

    -Reset the console

    -Reset your modem and router

    Hi, if you are refering to saved passwords on Microsoft Edge, on the Xbox Console, then yes you will need to enter your passwords again.

    Also Try to reset your internet. That may help along with the hard reset.
