Internet problem with Xbox connection

If I thy to use MS Solitaire connection, Xbox reports that I have no Internet Connection on my PC. But all of Windows 10 Wi Fi and Ethernet Network connections are working fine. I can find my MS Account and Xbox account ( with my user name and icon) and I'm signed in to both accounts. I also use MS Edge and I don't now if it's causing a connection problem. I just up graded Window 10 to V21H1 and Norton 360 about the same time June 3 2021.

MS Solitaire Connection was working fine till the date above. In my Xbox user name and icon sing in box there are 3 dots (...) next to MS Account. If I click the dots I get these options: Xbox Settings, Subscriptions, and Redeem Code. I don't know what Xbox setting or Redeem Code are for or if I need then!

Can anyone please help with the MS Solitaire Connection where it say the connections are working on the Xbox window. Are there setting to change or a redeem code. I don't want to loose and data or points since I've been using the MSSC for years.

Yes. Says there is no internet connection. But there is no problem with my internet connection and other Xbox games have no problem connecting.

i fix my xbox console companion app problem it was my internet connection i went to a another internet connection to fix this problem

open the windows 10 store, click the three dots top right and select updates and get updates to see if you need the game updating.

also Norton same as MacAfee are notorious for blocking apps and causing connection issues and are actually useless. i just use the built in windows defender as it does a descent job of not eating resources. and have not had any malware or viruses for years.

the amount of machines i have had in over the years for running slow or not working properly and it's always down to those 2 programs oh and Kaspersky which is evil.

Edge won't cause issues with your connection.

I'm having the same issue. The next screen says that my modem may be set up to filter out some devices. I havent changed anything, and it worked fine before. It says to make sure it isnt filtering the xbox out, but I have NO IDEA how to do that or even where
to start. Someone please respond. This is annoying.
