    Internet problem on xbox one x


    I have a problem with my xbox one x I play everyday online so I set it up with a wired connection but every single day when I turn it on the first time it will not detect a internet connection and it will have “connect to xbox live” on the home screen
    usually to fix it I have to go into the consoles network settings and go offline then do a full shutdown or unplug the power cable for at least 10 seconds and put the console online after rebooting.. it seems it needs a full network config reset which firstly
    it shouldn’t and secondly that is very inconvenient since there is no setting or command line on xbox to do this and its an absolute joke to be playing around with my hardware so that my xbox will recognise it is connected to the internet. Has anyone else
    experienced anything similar how can it be fixed??

    I've had (and still do) this issue ever since switching from a Xbox one to my Xbox one X. It's not my internet connection but I always suspected it was my Xbox one (original one-in lounge room now) forcing some kind of sign out on the X (in bedroom).

    But the Xbox in the lounge is off and yet YouTube just signed me out again on the Xbox one X in my bedroom.

    Thought I'd mention this in case it helps Microsoft figure out the problem here, if they look for a solution beyond turning it off and on again, or saying it's caused by internet connection problems.

    I have the same problem in my Xbox One X. I'm not sure about if this problem is only in X models. My internet connection works fine too, when connected in my PC for example.

    No, not the issue with your internet. But as has been mentioned earlier, the Xbox Live services themselves are experiencing some issues :)

    Im having the same problem. My internet and xbox are fine. There perfect. But, it seems like its xbox live. It had a red x on my network test on the xbox live one only.
