    Internet problem on XBO


    Hi all,

    I’m having a problem with my XBO where it says I’m connected to the internet but when I connect to Netflix, Amazon, Microsoft store etc it says I’m not.

    I’ve tested the connection in settings - says I’m connected.

    Turned the XBO off and on again

    Turned my router off and on

    Internet working fine on all other devices and phones, speeds recorded at 36mbps.

    Any idea what I need to donto get things working?

    Hello Lain,

    Sorry for the issue with connecting. You can try and clear the alt mac address. Go to settings>network>network settings>adv. settings>alt mac address> clear and restart. Also if you are wireless try a wired connection.

    Try these and let us know.

    Your very welcome glad to be of help. In the future this happens, go to the system then instead of going to settings go to restart console it also does the same.

    You are my hero. Followed the steps to the point of restarting but it wouldnt let me. Manually turned it off and on at that point and it now works 🙂
