Internet latency questions

You can use wifi if your router is not too far from your console. 10 feet directly without obstacles would be the maximum distance
The idea is that your wifi connection doesn't have walls or objects in the middle of the way.

If you want the best recommendation I would say cable.
Has less latency, can achieve more download and upload speeds and basically you don't experience intermitences

The ideal connection would be via cable, with cable you experience less interference from your surroundings

Ideal download and upload speed for online playing is 20mbps free (in case you live with more people, you can multiply 20mbps X people to give you an idea)

About latency, the maximum is 100 ms to enjoy a good experience on multi-player matches

Low ping = good.

The 'bar' is not ping, it's the general quality of your internet connection, and a latency timer. The higher the latency, the higher the ping, the worse the connection is, the lower the bar will go. I'd do a speed test on an internet browser to see if it's
your internet connection or not.

Latency is more internet related issue I dont think people with fiber optic or very high internet speeds are having latency problems at all, I am one of them that dont suffer from that 🤷��‍♂️
