    Internet Issues after MW Update on Xbox?


    Xbox was fine and Internet was fine last night. I did thr Update for Modern Warfare, and now my modem is on the fritz.

    It will lose connection every 30-60 minutes. At first i thought my xbox was going offline then i realized my whole internet was.

    My modem may be ruined. Don't know how that works. I know no one Dox'd me, i didn't talk to anyone or piss anyone off. I wasn't even on the headset.

    So I dont know what relationship the Xbox, the Game and my internet have, but i can't even use internet with the Game and Xbox turned off.

    Anyone else have this? Any fixes?

    Yes, my ISP is fine. No outages or anything. It's not the ISP.

    Xbox is unplayable online.

    Recently my router/internet provider had a outage and for days I had strict NAT type on MW, eventually I tried resetting my router had it off for 10 mins then connected. Turned on Xbox reset the console went on MW after the reset NAT type was open again.

    well i been getting Internet issues myself but its sounds like too me that you its more Internet Provider problem and just the think of it i ran into these problems in the past where i had too get my ISP to ask Port forward to get NAT type open but with
    COVID19 issues people could be working at home than at work dont worry i run into those problems all the time

    I don't have any issues with my connectivity in MW, but it's interesting that other games are working. It could be that you're on a shared internet connection and other people are fighting over the ports that MW is using. You may need to look up how to
    manually set the ports on your Xbox in order to avoid sharing them with other users on the military base.
