Internet Explorer will not load on Xbox one console plus other issues

For the past several days every time I try to load the Internet Explorer app on my Xbox One console it stays stuck in trying to load screen. It never loads, however, and all I get to see is the little rotating discus that indicates that it is trying to
load. This is not the only problem the console is having as just recently it added to the problems issues with playing audio cds: I cannot play them and the app is unavailable. To add to that just yesterday I noted that as I was playing one of the games
I own that the screen would catch. Meaning it would freeze briefly during gameplay. I have also noted that in the past before these issues that the console sometimes does not recognize and cd or game disc and the disc must be removed and then put back into
the system. To add to all of that sometimes and frequently the Xbox does not respond well to voice commands it is as if I nearly have to yell at it and still it is selective in hearing. This system has some major problems and so does the Microsoft products
in general it would seem. Please, work diligently to rectify these issues so gameplay can run smoothly, I can listen to my audio cds again and occasionally use the internet browser through the system. It was bad enough when recently we all could not use
our Xboxs because we could not sign into live. What the heck? That data should be saved locally so I should still be able to access everything without this. Why should my system that I paid too much for become pretty much useless if Microsoft is having
issues? I paid too much for something to become unusable in such areas.

I am also encountering this error on Firefox plus Internet Explorer. I don't own a Xbox so I am unable to test it on a console.

That's a few issues to be honest...so lets start from the top

If your internet explorer is not working, I would suggest perform a hard reset on your console. What you want to do with that is turn off your console and unplug all the cords connected to the console, hold down the power button for 30 seconds, plug everything
back in, and turn on your console. this should help with that issue.

As for the CD's not working with the app store, it seems there is an issue going around that will be rectified in a bit, but until then, sadly, no playing Audio CDs.

With the console not reading disc, there not much more you can do if the hard reset didn't work. Sadly, with that you would want to set up a repair. With the repair, you can set up a repair by going to myservice.xbox.com, or calling xbox customer support
to set up a repair.

If your Kinect is having issues hearing you, chances are you just need to recalibrate the Kinect to listen to your voice. If you need help with doing that, please do respond to this thread so I can continue to assist you.

I think that is almost everything, if there is more, please respond to the thread with what I missed.

 

Thanks, the reset you suggested worked wonders on getting internet explorer back up and running. As for the Kinect issues I will take your suggestions into account if it still is having issues.
