Internet Explorer not working

It seems every time I go to use this thing there is something wrong with it or I have to do something first to make it work.

This time IE doesn't work (error message only) and it's not available in the Store. Device does connect to internet though as YouTube app is working.

Anyone one else having this issue? Can Microsoft please implement the fix?

Hi Cold, when you did the power cycle did you unplug the console from the outlet for 30 sec? It's important that you unplug it for it to take effect. Most of the time it works but there have been times where it doesn't. Let me know.

 

Internet Explorer not working.

Whenever I try to open the ie app on xboxone I get a Message that says server error. It works fine on my 360, I've tried numerous power cycles unplug modem/router even signed into a new profile and power cycled no luck. I've had numerous problems with this
console and I have to power cycle quite frequently however that usually fixes the problem. Any ideas as to why the ie app broke or how to fix it?

 

Doubt Microsoft can implement a fix for corrupted data.

You can fix this by clearing the persistent storage, and perform a hard reset on your console.

To clear the persistent storage, go to settings--->disc and blue ray---->persistent storage and clear the persistent storage 3 times.

To perform a hard reset, turn of your console, unplug the cords connected to the console, place your finger on the power button or 30 seconds, then plug everything back in.

Should fix up the issues rather easily. If it doesn't, reply to this thread so I can continue to help

 

Thanks for your reply but what does it have to do with Internet Explorer missing from the store?

 

Sometimes corrupted data can prevent apps from appearing in the store. Just a though.
