Internet Disconnecting

Maybe someone can help. Recently I upgraded my internet to 1g and got a router from my internet provider. When we first got the gateway it worked fine but now every time I turn on my xbox series x which is connected via ethernet the internet crashes and drops. The same thing also happens with my work computer which is also connected via ethernet. I tried resetting the gateway but that seems to just be a temporary fix. Within a couple of hours in run into the same problem. When I had slower internet I never ran into a problem like this. I'd appreciate any advice.

Disconnect console from Internet

Reinstall game while console is disconnected from the Internet

Launch game while console is still disconnected from the Internet

When you connect your controller it disconnect you from the internet?

I tried 2 controllers. Both are disconnecting. And when they're both connected, I can see that they disconnect at the same time.

Well, when I don't have any controller connected the Internet is disconnected too. When I stay on the Wi-Fi / Internet page, it says "No connection" with or without a controller connected. The controller is disconnected with the Internet, even when I don't
have a Internet connection set up.

I miss play GTA V...

We understand the inconvenience caused and we are here to assist to the best that we can. As per description, Xbox Series X crashes when connect to your ethernet, same with your PC. This happens after upgrading to 1G router from your Internet Provider. Let us work on this together to find resolution of the problem.

Before we proceed searching resolution of the issue. We would like to ask some questions about it.

Have you tried consulting this to your Internet Provider?
Do you mind sending to us the screenshot of error message if there's any?
What about NAT status, did you check it also?

We can check your NAT for the time being and check if this is the cause.

To check NAT type.

For Windows 10:
- PC Settings > Gaming > Xbox Network and check the NAT Type.
- Look for NAT Type
- Please reply with any error message/code you notice.
- For Windows 11: Install Xbox Console Companion app from Microsoft Store (click here)
  - Launch Xbox Console Companion app.
  - Go to Settings and select Network tab.
  - Look for NAT Type.
  - Please reply with any error message/code you notice.
- For Console:
  - Kindly go to Xbox Console's Settings.
  - Select Network and Network Settings.
  - Look for NAT Type.
