Internet disconnecting after plugging in mouse and keyboard?

I'm sorry to hear you've been experiencing some issues with your console.

I believe additional information is needed.

If you don't mind, please answer the following questions:

- Is your console connected to the internet via WiFi?



- Is your console's OS up to date? you can see this at Settings > System > Updates.

- Once your console disconnects from the Internet, do you get any error codes/messages? network errors usually appear at Settings > General > Network Settings > "Current Network Status".

- Besides your M&K, do you have any other external device plugged into your console?

- Have you already done some troubleshooting on your own? if so, could you tell me what you've tried so far?

Unfortunately, this sounds like it may be hardware-related.

- Have you tried connecting your console to the internet via ethernet cable to see if even then, your console continues to lose connection?

- Is your console's power supply plugged directly into one of the wall's outlets?

- Have you tried using your console and M&K without the external hard drive?

I'm sorry, by 'hardware-related' I didn't mean there was a problem with your M&K specifically. What I mean is that your console may be having trouble working correctly due to having three devices plugged into its USB ports.

Could you try doing another power cycle? this time, please do it like this:

- Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds, until it shuts down.

- Remove all external devices from the console.

- Unplug the power cord from your console for 5 minutes (If you have the original Xbox One, unplug the power supply from both the Xbox and the outlet).

- Plug your power supply directly into one of the wall's outlets.

- Turn your console on.

- Try plugging everything back together.

If the issue persists, try testing the console without the external hard drive.

- My router is too far away for an ethernet cable and i currently do not own one.

- My console’s power supply is plugged into a 4 way extension (a sort of splitter that plugs directly into the wall socket and has 4 of its own sockets)

- I have not tried it without the hard drive as all games that are M&K compatible are installed on there.

If it helps, I have used M&K with war zone before, and it worked, although this was almost a year ago. I do not think it is hardware related as the M&K work fine on my PC. The USB ports are working fine and if I use a different mouse or keyboard the same issue occurs. Thanks for the help so far 😊
