Internet connnection issues.

Thank you for contacting the Xbox Support forums. If possible, try to direct connect/hardwire your console with an ethernet connection to ensure that it can connect to the internet. Once you confirm that the console is able to connect while at least hardwired, try the troubleshooting steps found here: Troubleshoot your Xbox 360 network connection.

Select the drop down error that best suits the error you are receiving. If the issue persists after going through all the listed troubleshooting steps, please respond back to this thread with details regarding the error. Error codes, or further information regarding what you are seeing on your end would be most helpful.

If your router has a UPnP (universal Plug n Play) option on the router settings, try applying that setting to your router. it helps most issues regarding connnectivity to LIVE.

if you are playing on two separate xboxes that both are connnected to the same internet connection one will have an Open NAT and the other will not. This sounds like what is happening, One machine is registering as Open but the other one is Moderate or
Strict so it is having trouble communicating. Here is a forum link I found that may help you to deal with issues of that type. forum.pfsense.org/index.php

OK I have connected it as follows (a little complicated but its the easiest my setup allows)

Internet----Router A ->))) (((<-Router B ---Xbox

Theres a wireless bridge between the routers.

One router connected to the internet the other is connected to the xbox (by wire)

This setup is working fine. As far as the xbox is concerned its connnected by wire so obviously there is a problem with the xbox wireless network card

I play fine. It may be the other opponents connnection, but the EA servers are acting up.
