    Internet connexion that need to open an internet page to enter the username and the password


    I'm wondering if it's possible to connect an xbox 360 or an xbox one to a network that need an internet page to enter the login information. If yes, can someone explain me how ?

    1. Open a web browser and in the address bar enter 192.168.0.1 and enter admin for the username and leave the password blank when prompted.
    2. Select Setup from the top menu.
    3. Select Internet from the menu on the left.
    4. Select Manual Internet Connection Setup.
    5. Select "PPPoE (Username/Password)" from the "My Internet Connection is:" dropdown.
    6. Under the section titled "PPPoE Internet Connection Type" enter the PPPoE Username and Password.
    7. Select Save Settings at the top.

    On the Xbox 360
    this is now possible after one of the last System updates    . The Xbox One can NOT do that currently.

    In order to use that function, your console must already be updated to the latest version AND have the most updated Internet Explorer app installed. So you might have to connect the Xbox 360 to a "normal" network first and let it update it's system and Internet
    Explorer app.

    If the console and Internet Explorer are up to date, you can do a network test in the system settings, and the console will redirect you to the Internet Explorer app, where you then can sign in.

    As a workaround on the Xbox One, connect your PC to the network properly. After the PC is signed in, make a note of the PC's MAC address of the network adapter that is used to connect to the network.

    In the advanced network settings of the Xbox one, copy the MAC address of the PC to the Xbox One, and it should also be able to connect.

    Tikona installed a wireless receiver at my home connect it to my computer through LAN cable and then you can use their internet through a username and password. Tikona Requires Username and Password to be entered on 1.254.254.254 to be able to connect to
    internet.

    I am not sure of the modem make and model no.

    This won't be a real MTU issue I don't think it will just mean the service is blocked, when you connect your PC to the wall socket what do you have to do to connect to the Internet? Do you have to enter a username and password each time on a web page to
    connect or do you have to register you PC (a one time registration) and then from then on you can connect without having to enter a username/password
