    hello i have a problem with my xbox one s consol suddenly wont connect to the wi-fi i tried the code several times but it sais its unable to connect and when i try test network connection it sais hardware problem not connected ...your network is not set
    up.can anyone plz help?

    Yeah i had a problem with it too. Said it cannot connect to the servers. I thought it was just a problem with my internet connection.

    Xbox Live Connection Error

    Maybe a problem with your connection. what is your internet like? you using eathernet or wifi to connect the console?

    I'm having the same issue. The next screen says that my modem may be set up to filter out some devices. I havent changed anything, and it worked fine before. It says to make sure it isnt filtering the xbox out, but I have NO IDEA how to do that or even where
    to start. Someone please respond. This is annoying.

    Same problem here. Screen says that my modem may filter out some devices.!!??

    All our other devices (2 x Iphones, 3x Ipads, 1 x PC and 2 x TV-sets finds the network and logs on but the Xbox One does not (and its standin next to the TV?

    I solved it by doing a correct reboot.

    1. Hold the on/off button on the Xbox One console until it shuts down (Iight turns off)

    2. Unplug the power cord for min. 30 sek.

    3. Re-connect and push the on/off button to start. ( the console now reboots and a green XBox-screen appears. This took a few minutes longer then the usual start-up routine)

    4. Then I had to configuer the wireless network all over with password but it connected immediately and my problems was resolved.

    Greetings, Guessed! Can you try using a public DNS and let us know if the problem persists? Here are the steps to do this:



    1. Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and then select System Settings.

    2. Select Network Settings.

    3. Select Wired Network or the name of your wireless network, if you are prompted to do so.

    4. Select Configure Network.

    5. On the Basic Settings tab, select DNS Settings.

    6. Select Manual.

    7. Select Primary DNS Server.

    8. Enter 4.2.2.1, then select Done.

    9. Select Secondary DNS Server.

    10. Enter 4.2.2.2, then select Done.

    11. Select Done again.

    12. Press the B button on your controller, and then select Test Xbox LIVE Connection.



    *Make sure you disable Port Forwarding and leave UPnP enabled.

    Give it a shot and let me know if you notice a difference. Standing by!

    really thanks, but my routers are fine - they are working as they were. the proplem is in the xbox so i will try to master reset it, but i need advice on how to do it, and how will it effect my game saves and my xbox live account? after that would it be
    possible for me to play on this account??
