    internet connection jumps from wired to wireless


    Last night I could not connect to xbox live. I have been connected via wired for three months now and I have never any problems. I tried to reconnect and the connection started jumping from wireless to wired back and forth. It would not reconnect wired.
    I unplugged the wire and it connceted wireless. Has anyone seen this before.

    WIRELESS CUTS OFF ETHERNET CONNECTION

    wireless seems to work correctly abeit slow,but when connected wired,, wireless seems to cut off wired connection . Graphic on test screen jumps between wired & wireless. Is it possible to turn off wireless on360s console?Most greatfulL for help. Thanks

    Xbox Live Down?

    Is it down for anyone? I tried logging on 3 times, wired/wireless connection, hard reboot. Nothing. It will connect to the internet, but not Live. On top of that all tests I run say everything is fine. Wtf?

    Yeah-the ethernet port on my Gears console went bad and I sent it in for repair but it was under warranty.It works ok now.

    Are you using a wired or wireless connection to connect to the internet?

    As wireless connections can have interference from other devices that uses the same connection.

    My Xbox Live keeps dropping partys and (Xbox Live) will disconnect and also It will kick me from online multiplayer games saying that the server disconnected

    Hi actual "lag" would indicate an issue with your internet connection or your wireless connection, is that what you are seeing players jump and jitter around etc. If you cannot connect wired as a test it is going to be hard to find the source of the problem.
