    Internet Connection Issues, Please Help!


    Hello,

    So I recently just got a new ISP, and I'm encountering issues.

    Note: the tower itself is both the router and modem, and I'm not using an external networking device through USB for my Xbox.

    All other devices (cell phones, apple TV, computers, etcInternet Connection Issues, Please Help! ;) can connect easily, but my Xbox 360 is having issues.

    Though the Xbox recognizes the router and I can log in using the password and such, when running a test, I'm unable to pass the step which tests the connection between the router and the internet.

    I've tried restarting the router, resetting the network configuration to factory settings, and turning off any other nearby electronics to test for interference. Nothing has worked.

    Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

    Internet Connection? Please help

    I'm so confused and aggravated do to the fact that my Xbox isn't able to connect to the internet. In the connection status, it connects to the network but can't connect to the internet for some reason. I've tried EVERYTHING. From clearing the system cache,
    deleting profiles, restarting Xbox/Modem. My internet is fine, I'm able to connect with my phone, tablet, smart tv, etc. which is why I'm so confused. I've tried using an ethernet cable and still no luck. We contacted our Comcast providers and they stated
    that nothing was wrong and that it's Microsoft's problem? PLEASE help! Error Code: 8015190B

    Please read: START HERE for connection troubleshooting! And post back in full detail (the bits in bold). Also, if wireless, state whether you
    have the black or white external wireless network adapter or internal wireless network adapter (Xbox 360S/E).

    sounds like your router is not assigning each device its own ip address. Make sure UPnP is enabled. If it is and it's still keeping one device connected. You may want to try setting each device a static ip address.

    Just a suggestion but have you tried to see if there's a firmware update for your Belkin 150?

    en-us-support.belkin.com/.../f6d4230-4-n150-enhanced-wireless-router---firmware-update    , might want to check that out to make sure everything is up to date before continuing to diagnose the issue. You'd be surprised at how many crazy problems such as this
    go away with a simple firmware update (that could potentially fix the issue you're having with the multiple devices - wired/wireless in your household)

    bxmdf, could you try a wired connection directly to your modem? This will help us determine if the router is the issue.

    cristian cubo, are you also connecting directly to your modem, and not a router? Do other devices have issues connecting to your network?
