    I'm an American living in Denmark for a few years. I want to buy my nine year old son a xbox. If I buy him one internationally, will it work back in America? If I buy him one from the States will it work in Denmark? Are the games from Denmark and America
    interchangeable? Thank you!

    Hi,

    It depends on if the console you purchased was NTSC or PAL. You can check this by putting in any game in the console and see if you get a region error. That would be the easiest way to tell if the console was PAL or NTSC.

    Once you figure that out you can buy games from Australia if the game you used was a PAL game and it worked perfectly fine. The denotation of NTSC and PAL can be seen on the top left in a white box in black lettering of any Xbox 360 game cover.

    Xbox One games are region free but 360 titles are not. If you purchase a console in Denmark you may not be able to play all backwards compatible titles when you return. You would also need to look into the power issue. You may need to purchase a separate
    power cable for North America and Denmark.

    Hi, as far as I know there is no guidance or advise regarding cleaning the internals of the console.

    I myself have never needed to clean the console and have been using them for years.

    Any unofficial method will have a potential downside and since they are unofficial I can't advise them here.

    Internally, only the ones that come with the console as authorized for use. The console is not meant to be opened and have the internal drive swapped.

    there were no consoles originally shipped with BOTH 4 GB internal storage and 250/320 GB removable hard drive. they include only one or the other when purchasing brand new. however you can purchase a hard drive and add it to a console with 4 GB internal.
    if the console has 4 GB internal then it did not ship with a hard drive.
