It's possible but you have to meet the following criteria for this to work:

    1. All devices have to be on the same network (LAN) so that they can communicate to each other.

    2. On your router settings, AP Isolation has to be disabled (it is by default most of the time).

    3. The game that you're going to play has to have a local LAN feature in the game, that allows a user to create a game (host) and have others join in via searching for the game in the LAN menu (Halo 2 has this feature, for example).

    4. To play on Xbox Ones and Xbox 360s, mixed together, you must have the same game and same version. For example, if you have the Xbox 360 version (technically Xbox original version) of Halo 2 with the Xbox One version of Halo 2 on the Master Chief Collection
(has all the halo games in it), that won't work as they're not the same version of the game - they may both have a LAN feature but it will not allow you to find another LAN game made by the other type of console: the game is different in how it's made.

    5. For you to be able to play one game on multiple devices mixed between Xbox One an Xbox 360 and play LAN together you must have the same version of the game - being the Xbox 360 version since that's the 'lower denominator' in this situation. Check to make
    sure you have the

Xbox 360 version of the game on all systems (disc or digital, doesn't matter) and make sure that game is on the backwards compatible list to see if it will work on Xbox One:

    http://www.xbox.com/xbox-one/backward-compatibility/available-games
If the game is not on that list you will have to stick to playing LAN on only Xbox 360s or only Xbox Ones.

    Hope this helps!

    Hi there,

The only way someone on Xbox One can play with someone on the Xbox 360 is if the Xbox One user plays one of the backwards compatible titles and both accounts have an Xbox Live Gold subscription.

Here are the available games for backwards compatible:
    https://www.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/backward-compatibility

I hope this helps! Let us know if you have any more questions!

The only way I could see it work is by using Backwards Compatible Games, a list can be found

    here

    Teredo Adapter

"Teredo" errors are usually resolved by going into your modem/router/gateway settings and configuring some options to open your connection.

Go to this page and start with the error message you saw, and follow the steps as shown: Xbox
    One Multiplayer Error Help

You will need to consult your network hardware manuals so you know how to access the internal settings in your web browser.

Xbox Series X and One S NAT type: Unavailable

I think you probably need to contact game developers as it's an internal situation and only with the multiplayer, sometimes this means an internal ban, we can't confirm that, best it's to contact the developers
