    Internal hard drive under-performing.

I didn't have any issues with the system until I purchased Forza Horizon 2. The system seems to be unable to load game data fast enough resulting in portions of the audio locking up. On the FH2 forums there are quite a few people experiencing the same
issue. Some of them have found a way to work around this by adding an external drive to the system.

I don't want to have to purchase an external drive for my system. I'd like to know if Microsoft is going to address this at all.

    :)

Do you think Microsoft should allow Xbox One users to Upgrade their Hard-Drives, or offer a service giving users options for them to Upgrade our hard-drives for us?

You guys aren't getting what I meant, It would be better to have a better performing internal hard drive then external with that being said and ssd would be best. I was not saying microsoft shouldn't allow the option for external hard drives they should
because then you can bring downloaded games where ever you go which would be great when going to a friends house.

A internal ssd hard-drive would make the performance much more smoother and faster like said before you will increase the speeds of your install, boot, and load times for items that you want on the internal memory.

    Hi Leathersoup,

Firstly I would like to thank you for your post and sorry about the delay in a reply to your problem with your Xbox One console is performing slower than usual, what I would recommend trying first is a power cycle which normally resolves this problem,
to do please click the below:

Restart or Power Cycle Xbox One Console

Also if you have your console plugged into a surge protected extension socket, I would recommend plugging in your console directly to the wall socket itself as your consoles power brick has a built in surge protector.

I hope my post is helpful and helps getting your console back to full power performance, If you still require any assistance please do not hesitate to reply to this post. Keep us posted on this issue, thanks.

    Skyrim DLC Dawnguard Wont Load

It was not downloaded under my gamertag. However, we are using the gamertag it was bought under, as well as the external hard drive that it has been downloaded onto. This has worked before, as we have a file that was played using Dawnguard on my Xbox, just
a couple of weeks ago. It also worked under similar circumstances, but with an internal hard drive.

    Xbox not booting

Ok can you remove any memory devices you may have attached to the console, memory sticks, USB external hard drives etc. Is your console the S Model with 4gb of internal memory by any chance and you fitted the hard drive yourself, if so can you try clearing
the system cache. Go to system settings/storage highlight the internal storage device, press Y.

If this makes things better try refitting the hard drive and perform the cache clearing steps again.

If your console doesn't have the 4gb of internal memory try replacing the hard drive and clearing the cache.
