Internal Hard Drive dont work after the system update

What is the mfr dates on your guys consoles?

 

Im having problems after this uldate too. DO NOT reformat. I did and i vant even access ANYTHING now. Only way my xbox will go to home screen is without the update. Talked to tech sipport. They said the patched is *** up. And shuld b fixed today

 

try this:

Reset XBOX 360 Failed System Updates

With the console off, press and hold the sync up button.

While holding the sync button press the power button to turn on the console

Continue to hold the sync button until the Console has booted up completely.

During the boot process the console should clear any failed updates, allowing you to use it normally.

Having issues as well. I removed the hard drive and it appears to be working and even wanted to do a major download. When I put the hard drive back I just go back to a gray screen with the little spinning circle and nothing happens. I think X Box has
created a mess.

 

Tried your idea Ritzy but no go. Still have a gray screen with the circle going nowhere.

 

I shut mine off. Unplugged the ethernet wire and turned the unit back on. I can now play the disc but if I try to sign in with the wire reconnected, I go back into limbo. While I was on unplugged I was able to go in and free some space in case that was
the problem. Nope! I was thinking my hard drive was toast because of it's age. I think now that X Box took care of it for me!

 

Have this problem as well. xbox 360 slim 250 gig official drive. Pulled the internal drive out and the machine boots fine without a hard drive, not much use for online.

just after the update I noticed a black screen when quitting out of games, then in halo 4 it would black screen at cut scenes, the machine would not register a controller (wireless or wired) and now will not progress from the 360 sphere logo.

I hope for a official reply in this thread.

 

less than a month from sending for repair and replacing my xbox360 - the same thing happened to the replacement refurbished console - this is ridiculous - sending it back yet again for service - 8 consoles died now - three different addresses and states,
all consoles running off surge protected boards - only consoles that i have had problems with is the 360, still running a ps2 and original xbox with no problems

 

my xbox 360 slim cant detect the hard drive or any information in it
