    When I turned on my console two days ago it took forever to get it started (10-15 minutes). It just hung och the logo screen. Then it came to the start screen with a message that I need to download an update. But there was no space available for the update.
    When I checked storage, no storage was listed, not even the 4 GB internal storage. I then formatted an USB stick and I could download the update, but after restart, the USB stick was not recognized as an XBOX storage device and I was not able to reconfigure
    it again without yet another restart. After that restart, the initial message of the update was back. So I'm in some kind of endless loop here.

    Any advise of what I can do to get it going again?

    WHAT I'M SAYING IS THAT THE XBOX 360 4GB SLIM IS INTERNAL & CAN HAVE A HARD DRIVE ADDED TO IT, WHEN THE XBOX 360 250GB SLIM IS ALREADY HARD DRIVE MEMORY AND HAS NO INTERNAL MEMORY, SO IF MONEY DOESN'T MATTER WHICH ONE WOULD ANYONE HERE CHOOSE, I RECKON GET
    THE 4GB SLIM AND ADD THE HARD DRIVE BUT DO YOU GUYS THINK THE SAME???

    Xbox 360 Slim 4gb Internal memory GONE.

    After about a month without playing my xbox 360 slim with 4gb internal memory (no hard drive), i turned it on to find that all my data, including gamesaves, profiles, downloads, themes, etc. were gone. When I got o the Games and Apps section of the xbox
    storage, it says that there is 2.6 gigs of stuff when I choose to transfer conent, yet it says that there is 0kb worth of data. The device itself says it has 359 megabytes free, yet when I open it, it only displays about 2 megabytes of stuff (my xbox profile
    that I redownloaded) If Anybody has had this issue or knows how to fix it, PLEASE TELL ME. I had worked for about 3 months for all my data and it sucks to have it robbed from me.

    Sorry to hear it. If the console is showing that there is no memory available you have one of two choices open to you.

    1. Send the console in for a repair

    2. Purchase an official Xbox hard drive for the console and see if that works for you.

    bf4 will not play

    If you are using a 4GB 360 slim console you will need to purchase an official 360 Hard Drive. The BF4 install is not compatiable with flash memory. Meaning you cannot use a flash drive or the internal memory on the 4GB slim console

    I'm tight on cash so a new hard drive isn't really an option. I forget If you need to gold to have cloud storage, because I just recently downgraded to silver. If I can't retrieve my Data, I guess it would just be better to wipe my memory and start anew
    huh. I've been meaning to replay Fallout 3 anyway. Thanks anyways.
