    I have all my ports forwarded, and my NAT is open… if I play within my network it’s fine, but when I go to play on cellular it disconnects every 5 seconds and says “we’ve lost connect to the server, retrying.” It’ll reconnect automatically but it disconnects again.

    Here’s a video to what it’s doing. I’ve restarted my phone, restarted the console, and restarted the modem/router.

    Any ideas?

    When you are away from home have you been able to connect to 5Ghz Wi-Fi or mobile data connection 10Mbps down on the actual phone? And is your console connected to WiFi or ethernet when you try to use remote play? Also could you go to your console go to Settings > Devices & connections > Remote Features > Test Remote Play. Are there any results that the console recommends that you improve in your set up for remote play?

    I have the same problem as do scores of other users. It has nothing to do with your ISP. I am in San Diego.

    Sorry you’re having such an issue. My suggestion is based on your statement: “my ISP reported that a proxy server went down and has been replaced. Clients reported connection issues since then, but only with XBox LIVE” and the statement “I'm certain the
    problem lies with my ISP but they can't find the problem,”. I suggest your ISP network is not configured to allow for a stable Xbox connection. This can only be addressed by your ISP.

    The main symptoms of you connection occurred when first trying to set up a connection on installation of your ISP’s new proxy server. Proprietary devices, such as your Xbox, must be allowed access to and/or through the ISP proxy server. These types of issues
    are typical of college and university systems as a security provision but not unheard of in cable networks. No problems of your router/modem setup can be addressed until your ISP is eliminated as an issue. Your ISP will have to contact Xbox for the appropriate
    configuration of their new proxy server if they’re willing to do so.

    I suggest you contact your ISP and ask them to contact Xbox support for the configuration information and to configure their proxy server for Xbox. I would also suggest that you return both your router and Xbox to their default configurations until you
    can test them with a reliable ISP structure. I realize this is a frustrating situation and I hope you can get it resolved.

    Try a Clean new Ethernet cable if its old i suggest you change it Make sure the cable is connected to the correct port restore settings and test connection if that doesnt work try getting wifi

    Disconnect all network devices from your modem and power off your modem for 5 minutes. Power on your modem and wait one minute for it to connect properly. Connect your console to the LAN port on your modem (with a different Ethernet cable if this is possible).
    Turn on the Xbox and go to network settings. Restore network settings to factory defaults. Press "B" on your controller and
    Test Xbox LIVE Connection.

    Post back and let us know how it goes.
