Intermittent disconnecting from xbox live

it is intermittent i can play for 30m and then it kicks me out. 1 of the 3 times i was also disconnected from xbox live. The two other times it was just from EA servers. I have only used bf3 while on xbox live

That error suggests that you might be having issues with a Static DNS.

What Brand and Model of modem/router are you using?

If I may suggest a solution it would go something like this: Buy your own choice of router that works well with Xbox LIVE. If it works well with LIVE it will work well in general, promise. You can take your time and browse through the

Network Hardware Information section of these forums, to find a router that are both well-behaved and fits your wallet.

If you decide to buy a router, (wireless) you will have to call your Internet Service Provider and have them setup the TC8305c in something called bridge mode. This mode will disable the TC8305c as a NAT device and have it operating as a standard modem. This
is necessary, since you can't have two devices on your network doing NAT (Network Address Translation).

Delete a gamer profile

You can delete profiles that you no longer use from your console. Here’s how:

1. Go to Settings, and then select System.
2. Select Storage.
3. Select All Devices.
4. Select Gamer Profiles.
5. Select the gamertag that you want to delete.
6. Select Delete.
7. Select one of the following:

• Select Delete Profile Only. This deletes the profile but leaves saved games and achievements.
  
• Select Delete Profile and Items to delete the profile and the associated saved games and achievements.
  

If you have more than one Xbox 360 console or you want to play games at a friend’s house, you might want to download your Xbox Live profile to multiple consoles.

Download your Xbox Live profile

You might want to download your Xbox Live gamer profile in the following situations:

• You want to use your Xbox Live gamertag on another console.
• You have a Zune, Games for Windows or Windows 8 Microsoft account (download your existing account instead of creating a new account).
  
• You accidentally deleted your Xbox Live gamertag from your console.

You can download your Xbox Live gamertag to any console. Here’s how:

1. 1. Press the Xbox Guide button on your controller (large X button in the centre of your controller).
      
   2. Select Download Profile.

Alright i did the port forwarding thing, and the second link didnt really say anything i havent tried.

Ill wait and see if the forwarding thing worked
