Intermittent connection issues after installing new gateway

Hey gang, after installing a new Motorola gateway, about every 3rd time I turn on my Xbox 360, it doesn't connect. Running network diagnostics always fixes it, but that's getting really annoying. It almost seems as if the Ethernet card on the gateway isn't
waking up properly when the Xbox turns on. It's a wired connection, and the gateway is solid in every other respect.

Note that I'm using Opendns below, but the issue happens whether or not I use it.

Xbox 360 will connect to network but not internet

A few questions here, for all of you having this issue:

Make/Model of Router/Gateway

Make of console (arcade, eltie, "s")

Are there constant or intermittent connection issues with any other device?

When did this connection issue begin, and did anything happen prior to the connectivity issue?

What error message, not code, are you getting?

 

Connects but auto disconnects after approx. every 10 mins

I'm having the same intermittent connection problems. I'll boot up the 360 and have about 5/10 minutes of perfect connection, and then get disconnected straight away. PC connection is fine. It has been doing it all of last night, though it was working fine
all day today until about 5 o'clock, where the intermittent issues came up.

Connection test:
