Intermittent black screen, Xbox One X

I know there was a bit of a known issue regarding the Xbox One X, and based on other forum post I set (reset) my display settings to 1080p, and that seems to have resolved the main issue for now. That said, every time I go to launch the Netflix app the black
screen issue starts happening again, and my tv's display starts reading 720 instead of 1080, with the issue going away only after a reset of the console. I haven't ran into the issue with any other app (yet), but it seems like the consoles display settings
start to freak out after launching Netflix, and this is getting extremely annoying.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I appreciate the response. I was wondering if this may be the case, but why would the app cause issues with the consoles display settings? After attempting to launch the app the tv display reads 720, then the screen just goes completely black and doesn't
rectify after exiting the app using the home button in the guide (still have audio, can hear the tones).

I'll follow-up with Netflix if need be, but I want to be sure its actually their problem first.

Without knowing what type of TV yours is, occasionally my 4K UHD TV will go to a blue screen, (personal setting on the TV), and when this occurs I switch TV off and on with remote and the screen displays again.

You may need to, as I have done, power everything off and turn them on again in this order...

TV, AVR if using and the XB1X console last of all.

Have a look at Display troubleshooter and in Using display toubleshooter section follow the steps but let the console do a auto
detect and check the results.

I appreciate the feedback. I looked though the posts but those all seem to be related to app crashes, my Netflix app doesn't seem to crash but cause issues with my consoles display settings. You can still here full audio on the background, previews from
Netflix and the menu chimes/tones when moving around or using the home button.

I also don't use the Atmos settings, but I'll play with what I have it set on and see of that makes any changes.
