    Interesting, very Strange account issue with gamertag


    Okay. Heres an interesting one which i could really do with help for.

    I recently used my “free” gamertag change (with the new gamertag system) to change my name to “Ha**z***c*” (starred for privacy) - i then purchased a gamertag change a week or so later and changed my gamertag to “O*****e**”

    the issue is,

    on the xbox app: old gamertag shown: “Ha**z***c*”

    on the win10 xbox app: when i sigh it it says “Hello O*****e**, then proceeds to show “Ha**z***c*” on the account section

    on xbox one: i go to Guide—> Profile —> My Profile and in there my old gamertag is shown Large, and my new gamertag is shown smaller, underneath the old one.

    im reallt confused. It appears i have 2 gamertags linked to one account which im sure isnt right.....

    So you have to type your password in every time? That's annoying...I just formatted my xbox's harddrive...hoping that will help

    When i first updated the dash it was set at ask for password,I changed it to remember the password.

    I have not head of the update with each play.Have you submitted to support?

    Oh and now MW3 makes me download a 4MB update every time I play...wtf is going on?

    I had the same problem i changed the remember password option in the new dashboard and it stopped.
